Cholera is an epidemic disease and a real public health problem throughout the world, particularly in West Africa. This study provides comprehensive overview of pathogenicity, epidemiology Vibrio cholerae strains’s antibiotics resistance A literature review was conducted online English using keywords “Cholera”, “Vibrio cholerae” “West Africa”, “Epidemiology”, “Antibiotic resistance”. These were entered into electronic databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar, Scopus Elsevier articles used according to reliability their sources, areas, subjects. based on collected data from different databases. One hundred twenty-three identified. After initial final sorting order eliminate duplicate copies, eighty-three retained while seventy selected, respectively, for this review. Though some studies had recommended system monitoring cholera African countries, nevertheless, there need create more awareness.
